Control Your Mind - Before Someone Else Does
Emotions are thoughts made physical. Emotions have energy. We can use that energy positively, negatively or even destructively.
As an athlete competing in individual sports such as swimming or judo, you owe it to yourself to maintain a positive mental attitude even when things don't go your way.
As a team player you owe it to your team to control your attitude.Negative uncontrolled attitude will distract and sap energy from your team mates. They can lose focus at vital times during the game. At the very best you will not be contributing as you should. At the worst you will take some of your temmates with you on the negative spiral downwards. It can be the difference between winning and losing.
The Own Your Attitude program is useful for all athletes but especially for those that experience so much frustration and anger that they lose concentration and alertness for a while.
The program will teach you that your mind is the cause of these emotions. Of course, the ignition (note the interesting choice of words)comes externally, but then you yourself do the rest to transform the experience to negative thoughts and then to negative uncontrollable emotions.
Applying the simple techniques included in the program you will quickly experience that these bursts of negative emotions will become a thing of the past so that you can preserve your energy and focus for the game.
You should be under no illusions, if you become a player known for these uncontrollable outbursts then you will be increasingly targetted by the opposition.
